The Drakes Pride Bowling Arm is approved by Bowls England for use in all competitions. It's designed to assist a bowler who due to injury or infirmity could not otherwise deliver a bowl. Also approved by the British Crown Green Bowling Association.
Typically the arm comes into its own where a person has hip/knee/back issues which restrict their ability to bend down to deliver the bowl correctly.
Construction is in Marine grade alloy with polyester coating, the Arm has a thumb or palm release & comes in four different lengths to suit bowlers of different heights, and also those who bowl from a wheelchair.

It’s tempting to use a wide arc pendulum swing when you start using the bowling arm.
In fact you won’t always need it – especially indoors, you can generate enough momentum from flicking the wrist from back to front.
Even outdoors, practice using the wrist as the main provider of propulsion. Then practice adding a small amount of arm pendulum.
Practice further by increasing the amount of pendulum to gain additional distance.
Always base your Bowling Arm delivery primarily on the wrist movement, adding the required amount of arm pendulum swing to achieve the desired distance.
