Wet weather and heavy bowling usage can damage turf, so protect your surface from divots and scrapes with these mats to protect turf from the impact of the bowl. They are made from a hard wearing polypropylene mesh with reinforced brass eyelets on three sides for secure fixing and a sewn-in polythene band around the edge to give the eyelets extra grip - preventing slippage when in use. Fixing pegs are included.
Also useful on open days when new bowlers are likely to damage the green.

These groundsheet mats are an alternative to the more expensive mesh mats and are suitable for roll-up and practice play. They are made from a heavy-duty 140gsm polyethylene sheet with reinforced corners with eyelets. Unlike our rink protection mats they are waterproof, so although they will protect the green, in wet weather water will tend to pool. Features
