Bowls grip, gloves and cloths (not to say polishes too) may be just what you need for better, more controlled delivery.   Because you’re worth it!

HOWEVER…. if you are contemplating buying any of these products it’s worth doing a sanity check on bowls size. Often bowlers visit our shop to buy gloves, especially, but also Grippo, Winwax, Wilgrip and other such products.  We put them on the witness stand and cross examine them on the size of their bowls.

Occasionally, as if in the confessional, one of our customers will break down and tell us that perhaps their bowls are too big now, but they hadn’t felt able to allow themselves to go down in size because it felt like a betrayal of their own self-image.

Ah, the balm of the confessional.  And for the shop owner, instead of a £4.60 tube of wilgrip, comes the prospect of a £300 set of bowls.

That’s what we call in the trade a Win-Win result.
