For years bowlers have used walking sticks with rubber ferrules and pickups. Now these two good ideas have come together in the Coachmans Bowlsmate.
Although a walking stick can be used on the green, this is much much better. Designed by bowlers for bowlers, Bowlsmate has height-adjustable support for a true delivery position when knee or back issues start interfering with your game.
It helps you get down low enough to deliver a bowl without putting too much pressure on your knee – the biggest problem bowlers can face.
What’s more it looks like sporting equipment because Bowlsmate IS sporting equipment, designed especially for lawn bowls both indoors and outdoors. Watch the introductory Bowlsmate video to see how it can transform your game!
Designed by bowlers for bowlers, the Bowlsmate® height-adjustable support gives you a true delivery position when knee or back issues start interfering with your game.
There are three models, height adjustable each with 7 positions:
Bowlsmate® Classic - 49cm to 64cm
Bowlsmate®XL - 62cm to 77cm
Bowlsmate®Custom - 75cm to 90cm
Each Bowls Mate also includes:
• Bowl and jack pickup, with unique hinged design
• Pickups fold away in order to protect the green
• Comfortable sports handle
• Handy wrist-strap
• Rubber ferrule that can be used on the bowling green
• Engraving plate for personalising your Bowlsmate®
Bowlsmate comes in two sizes, each adjustable to seven different heights. The classic Bowlsmate ranges from 49cm to 64cm and the Bowlsmate XL goes from 62cm to 77cm. It can be used with both fixed and fluid stance and your club coach can advise on the right model for your needs.
The flat rubber base protects the green and you'll notice that the pickups have a unique hinged design. This means that as you bowl they'll not harm the green in any way.
The Bowlsmate pickups have been designed to handle ALL legal bowls sizes - and of course, the jack. By using the Bowlsmate you can be more confident in getting down low, knowing that you have the support to get up again. This also helps to look after the green because there's less risk of dropping the bowl from too far up.
