This walker is fitted with a choice of two or four 80mm front wheels, complying with on-green regulations. The two wheel version has two rear wide pads (ferrules) which are similarly compliant. This means it is stable for use as a support while bowling, and can be lifted slightly to provide walking support up and down the green between ends.

The four wheel version (Bowls Royce Walker 4WD) is indicated when there is a need to carry e.g. oxygen from end to end and/or when some rolling support for changing ends is helpful, but there is no need for wheelchair transport. NB Health and Safety note: the 4-wheel version is not recommended for use as a stability aid when delivering a bowl.

These groundsheet mats are an alternative to the more expensive mesh mats and are suitable for roll-up and practice play.  They are made from a heavy-duty 140gsm polyethylene sheet with reinforced corners with eyelets.
