Wet weather and heavy bowling usage can damage turf, so protect your surface from divots and scrapes with these mats to protect turf from the impact of the bowl. They are made from a hard wearing polypropylene mesh with reinforced brass eyelets on three sides for secure fixing and a sewn-in polythene band around the edge to give the eyelets extra grip - preventing slippage when in use. Fixing pegs are included.

Also useful on open days when new bowlers are likely to damage the green.

Approx sizes:

Standard:8 feet x 7 feet  (2.4m x 2.1m)  
Extended: 9 feet x 7 feet (2.7m x 2.1m)

Caution: these mats have been known to give rise to ructions when an official determines that a bowler is damaging the green and asks for them to be deployed. Use with discretion to avoid giving offense!

These little people hoped to grow up to be lollipop ladies but suffered a

These Double Sided Scoreframes are made of solid steel tubular construction with coated aluminium scoreboard numbers for strength and durability supplied complete with ground spikes and feet.

Scores from 0 to 49 (standard) or from 0-99 (Deluxe). The score on the standard frame is visible from both sides, using the plus notation. For example the score will read 14 on one side and 10+4 on the other side.


For a vertical score frame which scores up to 99 with identical numbers displayed on each side (ie 14 and 14   not   14 and 10+4) select 'Deluxe Scoreframe' in the Standard or Deluxe drop-down.  NB there is no deluxe option for the Horizontal Score Frame.

The number backing plates measure W20cm x H23cm, whilst the individual number plates measure W10cm x H14.5cm. The numbers are printed in large clear print measuring 9cm in height, making them easy to read from a distance.



The vertical frames are 10" wide by 36" tall (34cm x 96cm)

The Horizontal frames are 14.5" tall by 32.5" wide (37cm x 82cm)

This dual-purpose ramp is designed to accurately measure the speed on a bowling green according to internationally acceptable standards. It can also be supplied without the timing sphere for use as an accessibility aid for playing bowls games from a wheelchair where conventional delivery is not possible.
