New bowls manufactured now will have a 2030 datestamp, meaning they are legal for use in County and National Indoor and Outdoor competitions where a Bowls England official umpire checks your bowls prior to play, until 31 December 2030.  Bowls with an earlier datestamp are still legal for use in all other friendly and league matches.

We classify our clearance and pre-owned bowls as follows:

BND = Brand New – Datestamp These new bowls are on clearance because their datestamp is one or more years behind the current new bowl datestamp.
SH = Second Hand
XD – ex-Demo
